Today’s video, Is It Really A Man’s World? Lauren Brooks doing her thing with Kettlebells, is brought to you by Lauren Brooks from On the Edge Fitness.
I hope you’re not jumping to conclusions by the title of this article. I’m not suggesting that this is a man’s world. Of course, I’m not suggesting that it isn’t. It’s all of our world, and our actions can and do affect others around us, even in unforeseen ways.
I’m sympathetic to the challenges that women face. The sideways glances in the weight room, Senators voting against fair pay, and the daily challenges of family life that aren’t burdened equally.
Additionally, I’ve seen customer service scenarios where people have said things to a woman, that I don’t believe they would have ever said to a man. I recognize and acknowledge that some things don’t line up the way they should!
Fit Chicks Rule!
There are women out there that can swing kettlebells with the best of them. Fitness isn’t a gender specific category. Due to the physiological differences that exist between men and women, when you see a woman that is ripped and lean, you know that she exhibited exceptional dedication to get there! The kind of dedication that can most certainly teach any man a thing or two about accomplishing goals and about kettlebells.
Keep setting the fitness bar as high as you do ladies. The rest of us are taking notice!
Let me know if you have any questions about kettlebells, fitness, this video, or if have a great clip you’d like me to add to this video series!
